Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks, eating delicious food and relaxing with loved ones. That is why I'm wearing an over sized sweater and classic black leggings so I can be comfortable all day. The boots I'm wearing do have a heel on them for the "dressy" part, but once I'm all settled in they are coming off! As for the makeup I chose to go glam because I couldn't resist the glittery shades inside the Anastasia Beverly Hills Self-Made Palette. I reviewed it on my last blog post, you can check it out here.

I love Thanksgiving and this year I am grateful to all my readers and subscribers! I love interacting with all of you and checking out your blogs and videos as well. Thank you so much for all the sweet comments and all the love you share. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and always make sure to tell the ones you love how much you love them!

Are you looking for a new eyeshadow palette for an amazing price? Well you might want to check out this new one by Anastasia Beverly Hills for $35. It's called the "Self-Made" Palette and I recently purchased it as part of my 2015 Sephora VIB haul. I've had some time to work with it and I can already say that I am love. First off, the packaging reminds me of a chic clutch or wallet, it's so pretty and I love the texture of it. I love that it comes with a mirror and a double ended brush for packing on and blending color. I'm impressed with how pigmented these shadows are, they remind me of eye shadows by MAC. They are so buttery and easy to blend which is a huge plus for me, the quality of this palette is stunning. The shades are gorgeous - when I first saw this palette I was drawn to the colors "Pink Champagne", "Metallic Plum" and "Isla." And once I was able to swatch every shadow, I fell in love with more shades. Pretty much the rest of the palette. The only thing I noticed that the palette was lacking is a really good transition shade. The only transition shades I can see is "Sherbert" and maybe "Hot Chocolate" but that one might be too dark and "Sherbert" has a light satin finish to be a noticeable transition color. "Sherbert" is the shade you'd swipe in your crease to build up your transition color or to defuse harsh lines. And "Hot Chocolate" would fit perfectly in your outer lid. But that's alright because if you already own an eye shadow palette chances are you already have a solid go-to transition shade to use. And if you don't, you can always use your favorite bronzer!

I had the chance to hit up Sephora's 20% VIB sale and pick up three items. Yes, only three. Which is not a bad thing actually because I didn't go crazy, haha! Plus some of these products are travel size which gives me a chance to try them out before I decide to purchase their full size later. Example, like this cleanser...

philosphy purity
The reason why I got this travel size bottle before thinking of getting a larger size is because I was skeptical. But now I feel silly not buying a bigger size! Now I know I'm going to run out because I'm enjoying it that much so far! It's such a gentle cleanser but at the same time it breaks down makeup flawlessly and leaves my skin feeling and looking clean. No need to scrub hard and it's not leaving my skin dry. Another main reason why this cleanser was on my list is because I heard this is a great cleanser to clean your Beauty Blender and makeup brushes with, I can't wait to see how that goes.

becca opal
I absolutely love highlighting, it's my favorite step when doing my makeup. Back in July I did a post about strobing and talked about a few of my favorite highlighting products to strobe with. Since then I've got recommendations on more products that are good to highlight with and BECCA's Shimmering Pressed Powder in Opal is on that list. This kit comes with a deluxe size BECCA's Shimmering Skin Perfector Press Powder and Spotlight Wand in the popular color Opal. I can't wait to try these products out! This kit makes a perfect holiday gift to give!

This is a palette I've been dying to get my hands on because it has colors I don't have in my collection! Anastasia Beverly Hills is one of my favorite brands and every time they come out with something, I hear nothing but amazing reviews. I'm excited to see how well these shadows perform and let me know if you'd like to see tutorials on this palette. I have a few looks in mind I want to create with this eye shadow palette.

If you had a chance to hit up the Sephora 20% VIB sale, what did you get? Or what did you get on your last Sephora trip? You can check out 2014 Sephora VIB haul here. Thank you for stopping by!

I've been loving bold lips this fall and today I want to share how I wear one of the boldest of them all, blue lips. My favorite blue lipstick is by Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in the color Paint. Patience is key when applying a bold lipstick. Since this is a liquid lipstick, it will dry up and not budge - once it's on, it's on! I'd also recommend applying a lip balm before the lipstick for hydration. As for the eyes, go light with lighter eye shadow so the blue lipstick can be the main event.

Last spring I cut my hair and since then I've been really into hair care. Before I never paid attention to what I was putting in my hair. I did a lot of damaged to my poor hair by neglecting to apply heat spray before using my straighter. Yup, it was dried up and bad. Now I'm wiser about the products I choose to put on my hair and I'm taking care of the dry and dullness by using keratin products. Recently I've been trying the Hask Keratin Protein range and I'd thought I'd give you guys a run down of my thoughts on each product.
Keratin protein is the stuff your hair, skin, and nails are made of, so this shampoo encourages your hair back to life. I love how I didn't have to use a lot of product to cover my hair, a little goes along way. The smell is good and it did a great job leaving my hair feeling clean and rejuvenated. The shampoo was lightweight and didn't weigh down my hair.

I am in love with this conditioner! Again, a little goes a long way and it didn't weigh my hair down. It left my hair feeling so smooth and soft! This conditioner is ideal for frizzy, dry or color-treated hair. I had pretty dry hair before using this line and I can see and feel a huge difference.

If you need to deep condition your hair, try this. You don't need to deep condition often, but when I do I use this and I really like it. This brought back more moisture to my hair and also reduced breakage and frizz. I love using this when I want to do more pampering and really reverse the damage to my hair.

Now that I am no longer neglect my hair, I really like topping my hair styles with shine oils. This one is the one I've been reaching for. {I go back and forth with Suave Professional's Moroccan Argan Styling Oil} But what I love about this one is it doesn't leave your hair oily, just shiny and healthy.

Overall I really like this hair line and I totally recommend it if you're someone like me who is trying to cure dry, damaged hair. Since using these four products, I love my hair more than I did before. If you used any of these products, let me know! I'd love to hear your thoughts! Happy Tuesday, loves!

I'm especially excited for today because The Peanuts Movie comes out and I'm going to go watch it! If you know me, you know I'm a huge fan of Charlie Brown and the gang. My favorite characters are Sally, Lucy, Marcie and Franklin! So when I saw this shirt at Forever 21 months back, I had to get it! Knowing the movie was coming out, I knew right away I was going to wear it to the movies. It's so cute! Forever 21 doesn't have it up on their website but they might have it in stores, you never know! Anyways, I'm about to see the movie now, I'll let you know how it goes! Are you planning to go see it?
{UPDATE} So the movie was so cute and really good, I loved it. :)

Happy November, loves! It's time to really get into the holiday season, so bring on the Thanksgiving preparation, gather up friends and family for get togethers and of course bust out your glittery eye shadows for some sparkly makeup looks! To kick it off, I'm pairing a sparkly purple eye with a bright berry melted lipstick from Too Faced. I wanted to go bold for this look and I did exactly that. I hope you enjoy this tutorial, please thumbs up my video and subscribe to my channel if you're not already!

How are you kicking off the holiday season?
